G-Influence award:
God rewards our LABOUR of LOVE (hard work),that is why we boldly recite, ‘Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven’. Consequently to this fact, the G-I Magazine by the grace of God has come out with various award recognition; “G-influence Philanthropy Award” , ‘the Niger Delta Comedy Award’ and the ‘Talent Hunt competition’ to appreciate those meaningful individuals who have influenced and those who are still influencing their generations and society at large. It is an event planned to combat joblessness and encourage talented and skilled individual. As we are aware that unemployment has eaten deep into the fabrics of our society and has give rise to criminal act in our society which is on the increase on a daily basis and they must have contributed negatively towards the peace and happiness of the NIGER DELTA STATE populace and environs, directly or indirectly.
This unfortunate situation can be combated just by mere jobs provisions or social welfare system adoption that will make people more self reliance and to have self esteem. Today we are having all kinds of insecurity and unrest; BUT we are here not to complain any longer, rather to profile solution.
The ceremony has always been a classy event, from the red carpet reception, various motivational activities, and the award presentation which has always witnessed a dazzling array of great people in our society and Nigeria as a whole.
The event has always had good representation of people from all spheres of life to encourage the outrageous manifestation of a Christ-like life style. G-influence award is an annual event of the G- Influence magazine.
The award is always by nominations and public voting via the G-influence website and SMS on mobile phones. The voting lines are always opened until 24 hours prior to the event day.
G-INFLUENCE COMEDY AWARD CEREMONY
Wednesday 23rd DECEMBER 2015, was an all exciting day for the big wigs in the comedy industry as they all fought to emerge winner of the prestigious G-Influence Comedy Award. It is geared towards promoting oneness, Godliness, aspirations, inculcating right values and sanity in the industry, encouraging talents and giving them a leverage to soar high and alleviate poverty. Present were, Humorous Gurus like Angel the laugh, OAU, Daniel the Humorous, KO Baba and many others.
