We’ve always heard motivational speakers say “be your real self”; there is no problem about being your real self because that’s the best thing that can happen to anybody living on The face of the earth. After all, at this point, you won’t be cajoled into taking a wrong step in life. There is yet a slight challenge about “being your real self”; and the challenge is that some of us don’t know who we really are.
Permit me to ask, “Do you know who you are?”
If you are asked to talk about ‘yourself’ in five minutes, what would you say?
Note that, the greatest and most important adventure of our lives is discovering who we really are. Yet so many of us walk around either, not really knowing or that we are listening to wrong ideas about ourselves. We carry on without asking the most important question we’ll ever ask; WHO AM I REALLY?
NOW BEFORE YOU ‘BEING YOUR REAL SELF, TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
1) YOU NEED TO FIND YOURSELF.
In finding yourself you have to answer questions like:
a) who created me?
b) how did I get here?
c)why did he create me?
d)what does my creator desire from me?
e) how do I go about it?
If you find answers to these important questions, then you are at the verge of finding yourself, when you find you then I can say, be your real self.
2) WHO AM I IN MY INSIDE?
Life itself is beyond your physiological or anatomical make up. It is beyond your five senses; there is a force that transcends beyond the physical; it can be found on your mind.
So, if you want to be your best self, you have to find answer to the salient question, “WHO AM I IN MY INSIDE?” It’s not ‘I’ as used in English Language but ‘I’ as used in introspective model; as used in the internal.
When you are able to find answers to these questions is connecting to your inner self.
If you don’t conquer your inside, I’m afraid to say the least, you may not conquer the world.
It is imperative you know that it is very possible to fulfil YOU.
And you shall get there; amen.
